In Dr. DeChurch's Developing Effective Leaders, Teams, and Alliances (DELTA) lab, we are always interested in recruiting and developing motivated undergraduate students who are interested in research! The DELTA lab conducts research on organizational phenomena including: multi team systems (teams that work with other teams), leadership, and team effectiveness.
Undergraduate RAs in our lab have the opportunity to work closely with graduate students on all of the large-scale teams research projects we are currently engaged in. The members of the DELTA lab are committed to mentoring undergraduate students and assisting them in the graduate school application process.
Undergrad research assistants are vital to the success of the DELTA lab. DELTA lab RAs assist in all stages of the data collection process. They help create survey packets, research protocols, and study training materials. They assist in developing coding schemes for virtual data (e.g., video chat interactions), entering data, running analyses, and reviewing the literature. Additionally, undergrad RAs in the DELTA lab have the opportunity to participate in regularly schedule lab meetings, in which graduate students present their research findings.

Maithili is a second-year student majoring in both Industrial Engineering and Psychology at Georgia Tech. She primarily assists in data collection for Project BLUE.
Kelsey is a fifth-year student majoring in Psychology at Georgia Tech. She is currently working on a thesis investigating the relationships between narcissism and leadership and communication in teams. Kelsey primarily assists with data collection for Project BLUE.
Morgan is a fourth-year Psychology major at Georgia Tech. She primarily assists with data collection for Project BLUE.
Zachary Gibson (Head RA)
Zach is a fifth-year student majoring in both Psychology and Computer Science at Georgia Tech. He is involved in several DELTA lab projects, primarily Project BLUE. He is researching topics including emergent leadership and communication in multiteam systems, and is using computer science techniques to code and analyze trace data representing complex relationships. He is also developing a program capable of performing sentiment analysis by using a lexicon structured as a synonymy-based network.
Robert is a fourth-year Psychology student at Georgia State University. He primarily assists with data collection for Project BLUE.
Bharath is a fourth-year student at Georgia majoring in Computer Science, previously Biomedical Engineering. He is currently working on a thesis and his primary responsibilities focus on data collection for Project BLUE.
Jeri is a fifth-year Psychology major at Georgia Tech. She is currently working on a thesis and primarily assists with data collection for Project BLUE.
Anna is a fourth year Psychology major with a minor in Political Science at Georgia State University. She primarily assists with data collection for Project BLUE.
